Newly Appointed Members of the Arthritis Foundation Board of Trustees

Gin Bell is the former chair of the Northern California Chapter and served on the chapter’s board of directors from 2001 until her move to Washington, D.C. in 2005. While on the chapter board, Bell was active in both program and development areas and chaired the Chapter Arthritis Foundation Council, an advocacy and public policy collaborative among the four California chapters. She is a graduate of Mercer Law School and served in the federal government for several years as an attorney at the U.S. Department of Justice, handling litigation in complex multimillion-dollar civil cases. While at the Justice Department, she also served as counsel for a national legal task force and attorney advisor to U.S. attorneys on ethical and personnel issues. She is passionate about the Arthritis Foundation, especially in the public policy expression of our mission.

Robert A. Campbell, CPA, is the current treasurer of the Texas Chapter, a member of the Budget and Finance Design Team, and a retired partner of Deloitte and Touche. His key roles with Deloitte and Touche have included service as regional managing partner and CEO of the Asia Pacific Region, managing partner of the Dallas office, member of the board of directors of D&T USA, and member of the executive committee of Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu. He received his bachelor of business administration from Clarkson University and his master of business administration from Colorado University. Campbell’s board and volunteer participation has included private secondary schools, universities, hospitals and social service agencies.

Lisa B. Hogan, Esq., represents corporations, foundations/nonprofits, trade associations, government entities and individuals in commercial business litigation, governmental affairs, corporate and transactional law, administrative law, automotive law, environmental law, strategic management, and technology/intellectual policy matters and cases. She has served as General Counsel for Deaf Services Bureau of South Florida; Headquarters Legal and Complex Litigation Counsel for BellSouth Corporation; and Assistant United States Attorney for the Southern District of Florida. She received her undergraduate degree from the University of Texas, her doctorate in jurisprudence from the University of Texas Law School, and her master’s of public administration from Harvard University. In addition to her professional experience, Hogan is active in the civic and public sector, as well as the philanthropic, nonprofit and public/social sector.

Dennis R. Olden is a retired Northwest Airlines pilot and is the current chairman of the Pension and Insurance Committee for the Airline Pilots Associations, representing all U.S. pilots for pension and insurance issues. Olden chaired the Finance & Membership Committee of the International Federation of Airline Pilots Association and totally restructured the International Association finances. He is currently chair of the Gulf Coast Region, Florida Chapter, and incoming chair of the Florida Chapter. He is a graduate of Drake University and is with Voluntary Employee Benefits Association, Inc. (VEBA, Inc.), a benefit-consulting firm in Tampa, Florida.
